Ends a series of Movements which belong to the corresponding **''[[group|$GROUP]]''** command.  A Group behaves on the screen like a single line.  Groups are described in detail in the chapter "[[sektionengruppenundzeilen|Sections, Groups & Lines]]." 

Only Movements can appear between   **''[[group|$GROUP]]''** and **''$ENDGROUP''** commands -- no   **''[[section|$SECTION]]''**, **''[[group|$GROUP]]''** or **''[[line|$LINE]]''** commands can appear inside a Group. 

A **''$GROUP''**, **''$SECTION''**, **''$SCENE''** command closes the active **''$GROUP''** block. In these case you do not need to use the **''$ENDGROUP''** command (but you may to use it, if you prefer).
