\\ The current version of the Traffic screensaver is **Version 4.6**, which contains some additional features, as well as corrects some errors found in the last version. The following functionality has been added or expanded:\\ \\ //Version 3.7:// * There are multiple **Program Versions**, which are differentiated by intended user groups. At the moment there are two versions: **Full** (all options) and **Small** (some options removed).  The versions **Run** (no configuration modification possible) and **Fix** (like run, but with a Stock List) will follow shortly. * **Sections**  - permit the use of large background pictures. One can run several trains in a section together which fit thematically to each other (and the foreground & background pictures, if present). * **DirectX Usage** for faster screen display - more trains can appear on the screen simultaneously than in previous versions. * Several new **Instructions** for picture modifications about how to compose new vehicles from composite parts. * Several new **Movement** types. * **Animations** now permitted inside foreground and background pictures - moving grade crossing barriers or blinking signal lights. * Programmed and **cyclical animations** - flashing beacons or waving flags on vehicles that still continue to operate when the vehicle is standing still. //Version 4.0:// * **Scenes** - multiple pathways can cover each other, the vehicles can move behind/before each other. * The overlay modifier **''[O: ]''** family can use already modified pictures - you can place mirrored, or in other way manipulated vehicles on other vehicles. * Two new movements: M=TURN uses the ability of vahicles before/behind vehicles in a single command, M=RCUT disconnects running vehicles. //Version 4.2:// * The timetable editor is based on another control - it has more editing commands, and better fits the needs of timetable editing. * The DirectX drawing methods are extended by a 3-buffer method. //Version 4.3:// * JPG files can be used for background images. * Foreground and intermediate pictures (fixed objects between the tracks) can be created from the background pictures using a colored mask. //Version 4.5:// * **Pools** - storage for timetable lines, which can be used from several places. You define the rain set a single time, and use it in several scenes with different background pictures, different number of track lines, and even in the traditional MM-Look screens. * **AP=** parameter for the movement commands and pool entries: the additional parameters will be added to the other parameter set, or they replace an already given parameter. The advantage is: you can use the random selection on this parameters - so, that several parameters will be handled together. The full version can generate TVL files.
