The whole growth will be shown in TIME= ; seconds, equally divided. The temporary background can grow in a wait time, but you have not to wait the end of the growth, trains can start during the shown part of the temporary background grows vertically. In this case the trains will decrease the horizontal size of the temporary background, as they move fort.
