Pathway parameters determine the graphical environment (static pictures below and above the track, behind and before the trains along the track, text label below/inside the background picture, elements along the track, which can start actions when the train passes them.

The Pathway parameters are applicable not only for the segmentation commands, but for individual movements too (if they are not contained in a segment that already defines the graphical environment).
