Die Vorschau zeigt eine Lok mit Bisselgestellen und einfacher Treibradabbremsung (1. Bauart), eine mit doppelseitiger Abbremsung der Treibachsen und der Laufachsen, (2. Bauart), eine mit abgebremsten Laufachen und einfacher Abbremsung der Treibachse (3. Bauart, mit Krauss-Helmholtz-Gestellen) sowie zwei ÜK-Loks. - In den frühen 50ern hatten viele 86er noch die Pumpen der Reichsbahn-Bauart.
